In honor of Father’s Day, HumanMarkets is making its list of “The Top Ten Movies For Fathers to Watch With Sons”. How do you think we did? What did we miss – which would they replace on your list?

Wow, I haven’t thought about “A Man for All Seasons” in a while. I think I’ll watch that one with my guys this weekend.
Other faves of mine to add to your very good list:
The Natural (stick to your dreams)
Dave (being good and being POTUS can be the same thing)
Band of Brothers (noble acts happen in big and small moments)
Excellent list. Thanks.

Frank, if even only one child sees A Man For All Seasons, that would not have otherwise seen it, all my work here is worth it.

Agreed on all of the above I would also like to toss in a couple:
Field of Dreams
A Few Good Men
And how about some comedy here …… Caddyshack!
Cheers all and Happy Fathers Day to all!!
Cheers,
Mark

Though I am not sure that my son would relate to an old film I would recommend Holiday with Cary Grant as a movie about hard work, following your dreams and wealth isn’t everything.
Red River about a difficult relationship between a father and an adopted son ( I know that theme all too well) and it is a heck a Western.
City Slickers which has a lot of man growing up stuff—and a touch of humor.

Love the Father’s day list and this is a good spot to plug the re-make of Twelve Angry Men. I’m usually not a fan of remakes – especially of a classic like this – but the new version is great.
